Toy & Clothes Free Library

Free Toy & Clothes Library – St John’s Methodist Church, Llandudno

Free clothes, toys and essentials for children aged 0–16 years

Our Free Toy & Clothes Library is a welcoming, community-led initiative at St John’s Methodist Church, Llandudno, helping local families access good-quality clothes and toys for their children, completely free of charge.

Whether you are looking for something your child needs, hoping to find a few extra items for your family, or simply want to see what is available, everyone is welcome. There is no need to donate to take something home. We believe every child deserves access to the things they need, and every family should feel comfortable asking for support without any pressure or judgement.

How does it work?

Our Toy & Clothes Library follows a simple, circular approach to sharing:

• Turn up – Everyone is welcome. No donation is required to take part.

• Take what you need – Browse our selection of children's clothes and toys, available free of charge for ages 0–16.

• Donate it back – When your child has grown out of their clothes or finished enjoying a toy, bring it back so another family can benefit.

• Donate on the day – If you have good-quality children's clothes or toys that you no longer need, donations are always gratefully received.

By sharing and reusing items, we can help families save money, reduce waste and make sure useful clothes and toys continue to benefit children in our community.

When is the next event?

Sunday 6 December 2026

Time: 1:00pm – 3:30pm

Come along, have a browse and take home anything your family needs. You do not need to book or bring a donation to participate.

Making a difference to local families

The Free Toy & Clothes Library is about more than clothes and toys. It is about supporting families, strengthening our community and making sure practical help is available to those who need it.

We work alongside local Health Visitors to help families access essential items for their children, and we welcome families from across the local community. By providing free, reusable clothes and toys, we can help ease the financial pressure that comes with raising children, particularly as little ones quickly outgrow clothing and their needs change.

Our work also reaches beyond the library itself. Any suitable additional donations that we cannot use directly are passed on to a number of charities and children's wards at Glan Clwyd Hospital, helping ensure that items continue to make a difference wherever they are needed.

Every donation, every item shared and every family supported helps us build a kinder, more sustainable community where children and families can thrive.

Would you like to help?

We are always grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community. Whether you have clothes or toys to donate, would like to volunteer, or want to support the ongoing work of the Toy & Clothes Library, we would love to hear from you.
