JPIT Newsletter October 2022

Dear Friends

The world is in turmoil. Wars (on our screens and those often forgotten), a weakening economy, the abuse of authority, devastating weather patterns... the list goes on. Rather than being swallowed up in despair, as justice seekers we often need to remind each other that there is a Hope beyond all turmoil, a Voice that calms the storms, a Love that knows no bounds, a Peace that goes beyond our understanding.

It's a privilege to join with you in working and praying for a world that actively works for peace, a planet where our environment is renewed, a politics characterised by listening, kindness and truthfulness, a just economy that enables the flourishing of all life, a society that welcomes the stranger and where the poorest and most marginalised are at the centre. It's a relief that none of us do this alone.

I hope you will find fresh encouragement and inspiration in this month's newsletter and that together we can continue to work and pray for a better world for all.
