Eleanor's Swim challenge

Rev'd Eleanor has decided to swim 1 mile in 70 different locations over the next 11 months.

So far she has swum in the river at Llanrwst, Llyn Geirionedd, Llyn Gwynant , Llyn Padarn and Llyn Dinas, so it's 5 down and 65 to go.

If you've got any ideas for local, accessible places to swim, she would be grateful to hear them. Once the jellyfish have gone then she shall be working her way along the coast.

Eleanor says,
"Next year I will be 70 so I've come up with a different way to celebrate, and, as many of you will

expect it involves water. I've decided that, over the next year, I'm going to swim 1 mile in 70

different locations, and raise money for Aspire.

Aspire supports people with spinal injuries, and I first started raising money for them in 2003, so

next year I'll have been supporting them for 20 years. During that time I've raised over £20,000, and

I want to really make a splash with this challenge.
