2011 saw the 400th anniversary 0f the publishing of the King James authorised version of the Bible in English. This inspired the establishment of Llandudno Bible Week which has developed in the ensuing years and is now supported by Llandudno CYTUN (Churches Together). The event now attracts visitors not only from North Wales but from the North of England and the Midlands. It is now endorsed by the internationally famous Keswick Ministries and this year its foundational speaker, Paul Mallard, will be returning to lead six sessions of inspirational teaching based on the Psalms and Saint Paul's letter to the Philippians.

Paul is an internationally respected teacher and author. Famously in his book, "Invest Your Suffering" he describes how he and his wife, Edrie found intimacy with a God who is no stranger to suffering as they went through the crucible of chronic illness together.

The week also features an exhibition of exciting art work on the themes of the week by local Christian art group, 'Studio' and a scale model of the Tabernacle, as well as a number of local based ministries. Dr Rhiannon Lloyd leads a worldwide reconciliation ministry called The Healing of the Nations which has taken her to war zones in Africa, the Middle East, Ukraine and Myanmar where Christians have been inspired to cross racial and tribal divides to embrace mutual forgiveness and help to reduce conflict. There will also be contributions on Sports Chaplaincy (Chris Armstrong), School Chaplaincy (Rev. Sam Erlandson), Christian fire Fighters (Matt Williams) and Roger Boon's ministry ensuring that the Christian message gets into the North Wales press.

The conference takes place at Gloddaeth Church from May 14th -17th and will be opened on Tuesday, May 14th at 7.30pm by the Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr. Greg Robbins. Sessions take place in the morning (11am) and evening (7.30 pm) and will be led by members of different local churches. It is a free event supported by donations and is open to all. The full programme can be found on 'The Llandudno Bible Week' Facebook site

Founder Kay Morris said," Over the years we have been inspired by the depth of teaching that has reached deeply into our hearts and it has been wonderful to see the Bible Week grow."
