Coed Craig belongs to Methodist Homes (MHA) which was founded in 1943 by a group of
Methodists who wanted to improve the quality of life of older people in the
time before the creation of the Welfare State.
Whilst we are open to providing care and support to people of all faiths and none, we continue to
have strong support from Methodists as well as other Christians to this day.
Coed Craig is nestled next to a wooded hillside with valley and sea views out to Rhos onSea, it's a
wonderfully calm and welcoming space. Our passionate team speak Welsh and English,
delivering personalised care in a warm, supportive and safe environment. We have
beautifully landscaped gardens and patio areas, a hair salon, as well as an optional schedule of
events and activities, helping residents to explore their interests and discover new ones. There's a
gardening club, flower arranging, baking, arts and crafts, bingo, quizzes and church services, so
there's never a dull moment!
We also have a dedicated chaplain and offer music therapy. We have our own minibus for
shopping trips, a visit to the theatre, a day at the beach or to simply enjoy a coffee in a local café.
