Rhos Methodist Church, a part of the lovely village of Rhos-on-sea on the North Wales coast. A building where people have gathered for nearly 100 years to worship the Lord and so many people love this place.
It is the Lord's House where we meet together for worship and all are welcome. Our Church Hall is usually a hive of activity with many groups across the community making good use of it.
During the Pandemic, on entering the building, it has been very noticeable how quiet, how peaceful our church is. Why? Because we, the congregation, were missing. But as we gradually start to open up our buildings, we, the people are needed to bring this building alive again. Remember, it is the people of God who are His Church.
Here are some of the pictures of the Colwyn Bay and Rhos Cytûn Churches Christmas display which is now in Bay View Shopping Centre in the window of the shop opposite Morrisons.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this and a special thanks to John Evans who coordinated everything. Let us pray that this will bring a message of comfort and hope to the people of Colwyn Bay this Christmas.
The Cytun concept was to retain a Christian presence in The Bay during Advent since
this year we're unable to sing carols in the precinct nearer Christmas Day, because of COVID restrictions.
The precinct management have kindly allowed us to mount this display from the different churches in a 'spare' shop window.Iris and Rev'd Janet Park completed the Rhos Methodist Collage last week- with thebaubles on the tree having the first line of familiar carols, and the second lines which are to be found on the baubles by the tree. Very Festive!
Do go and take a look when you our out doing your Christmas Shopping.
